Muir of Ord Station Update

The passenger shelter on the down platform has still not been re-roofed. The adjoining road bridge has had a weight restriction placed on it necessitating traffic lights. It was last painted 25 years ago when a new footbridge was built linking the platforms to the main road.

The commuter train usually picks up about 25 passengers each morning, however this may rise with the amount of house building in the Muir of Ord area including a scheme for 76 houses recently being passed by Ross and Cromarty planning committee.
