EWS have acquired the Grangemouth intermodal terminal from TDG Plc to service Aberdeen, Central and Eastern Scotland to European hubs via the tunnel. Services from Brussels to Daventry start in January, Duisburg to Manchester in February and Milan to Manchester in March.

EWS at present run a service from Grangemouth to Manchester for TDG and services to Daventry. I expect containers for Scotland will be crossed over to the Scottish trains at the two terminals in the south. This will all run under the Euro Cargo Rail banner the successful EWS European subsidiary.
