Do They Mean Us?

On 4th March, the Press and Journal ran a story under the heading: "Half-century since 'axe-man' Beeching's rail network cuts" in which readers were told that "Several services in the north and north-east were closed, including Inverness to Wick, Inverness to Kyle, Fort William to Mallaig and Aviemore to Elgin - via Inverness," amongst other lines which actually did close. The following day, a letter was published from FoFNL pointing out the newspaper's error. Makes you wonder where on earth they get their information, doesn't it?
